video thursday

I saw this video floating around Facebook last week and thought it would be perfect to share for this month's video thursday. The video is Dove's Real Beauty Sketches, and it shows women that they are more beautiful than they think. It's an inspirational video and something we all need to be reminded of every once in a while.

the buried life

Remember The Buried Life show that was on MTV? Well the guys are currently touring to speak about their project, and they stopped at my school last night! Being the huge fan that I am, I knew I could not miss this opportunity. Only two of the guys were there (Jonnie and Dave), and they talked to us about their journey and what inspired them to start "The Buried Life" project. It was so interesting, and they were both great storytellers. And they were really funny! They even played video clips of their adventures that happened before the MTV show. It was interesting to learn that they had been documenting this project long before MTV gave them a show. I can't wait to hear what they're doing next!

french toast

Even though I'm not a little kid anymore, I still look forward to an Easter basket and chocolate bunny every year. And of course a special breakfast with french toast and waffles! It was so nice being home for the holiday weekend, and I made sure to bring plenty of Easter candy back to school with me. Now that Easter is over, I am in the final stretch of the semester! Only four weeks until summer vacation!
