morning coffee

I'm not sure that I would consider myself a "coffee person", but I've definitely started drinking it more during this past year and a half. It all started when my cousin made a cup of coffee for me while I was staying at her house. She truly makes the best coffee, and her recipe is pretty much the only coffee that I will drink. It's delicious and easy enough for me to make on my own! Here's how I make my perfect cup of coffee!

I don't really use exact measurements because I learned this from my cousin and I don't remember her measuring anything. Just keep in mind that 
the goal is to fill the mug with 1/2 coffee and 1/2 milk mixture.

INGREDIENTS

*coffee
*milk
*brown sugar
*sugar (optional)
*Coffee-mate creamer: french vanilla (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. make coffee 
2. pour coffee into the mug about half way
3. heat milk (either by stove or microwave)
4. when milk is hot enough, stir in brown sugar until it dissolves. I like to add about 2-3 spoonfuls of brown sugar.  
5. pour the milk mixture into the mug until filled to the top. stir!
6. add sugar or creamer if you want!
