off the chain

I've been seeing these wrap bracelets everywhere lately. I love the trend, but I couldn't find any that I actually wanted to buy. So I decided to make my own! I made this one a few weeks ago, and I can't wait to wear it during the summer! Here's how to make your own!

I used pink cotton thread and a bronze chain (both found at Joann's). Cut six strands
of thread and the chain to whatever length you want. For me, about 20 inches worked well.

Tie everything into a simple knot and tape to the surface. Separate into three strands as shown above.

Braid to your desired length and then knot the end.
My bracelet is about 11.5 inches measuring the braided section from knot to knot.

I used a silver clamp and link (both from michael's) to secure the endsOn one end, add the hook thingy. The clamp & hook section adds about 1.5 inches total to the bracelet.

Stack with other bracelets for a summery look!
