Best Days of Your Life

Wednesday was my last day of high school, and it was equally sad and exciting. My friends and I met up at 4 a.m. for breakfast before heading to school at 5:30 a.m. to hang out in the parking lot. We wore t-shirts from our future schools, signed yearbooks, took pictures, and exchanged senior pictures throughout the day. I definitely won’t miss the homework and early mornings, but it’s sad to think that I won’t see some of these people everyday anymore. I had a lot of good times these past four years, and I will miss the friends I made.
Thursday was a long and stressful day. Prom. Of course, I was behind schedule and showed up late for pictures, but at least I wasn’t the only one! Unfortunately, it was raining so we couldn’t take any pictures outside. We had a great time anyway!
After sleeping over at a friend’s house after prom, we all regrouped for a late lunch in town. We discussed the best and worst dressed from the night before and some of the crazy things that happened. Even though it was pretty cold for the end of May, we went to get ice cream that night.
A great start to summer!
